Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) officials say they’re making progress on hospital crowding and waiting times, and that new money announced in Wednesday’s provincial budget will help even more.
“Yesterday was a very exciting day for us,” said SHA CEO Andrew Will.

Providing workers essential homecare services to vulnerable people throughout counties Louth and Meath say they are short hundreds of euros per month following a contract change by their employer, Danu Home Care.
Danu Home Care traded as Ann’s Home Care Ireland until recently and retains the same corporate structure.
A spokesperson for the workers said they had been on seven 12-hour shifts every night and were moved to 30 hour per week contracts.

Galaxy Health and Allied Insurance Company received approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Irdai) on Friday to commence health insurance business in India.
During the 125th meeting held on 19 March 2024, the insurance regulator granted approval to the company. Following this approval, the number of Standalone Health Insurers (SAHIs) in India will increase to seven from the existing six.
